- If your shades are Bluetooth integrated, then they are ready to connect directly to your mobile device without a gateway.
- Note: To identify if your shades have Bluetooth technology, the antenna will have a blue tip.
- If your shades do not have Bluetooth integration, then your shades are equipped with Z-Wave only and a gateway will be required to pair your shades to your mobile device.
- If you wish to use voice assistant, then a gateway is required.
- If you wish to have independent control away from your home, then a gateway will be required.
