How many shades can I add to the TaHoma Switch?

For Zigbee technology:    

• The TaHoma switch can handle a total of 60 devices 
• Devices are classified as motors that are not repeaters 
  • Sonesse 28 WF Ext Batt, Sonesse 28 Li-Ion, Sonesse 30 Li-ion are not repeaters 
  • The Sonesse 30 24V motor is classified as a repeater 
  • Without repeaters, the TaHoma switch can only handle 6 end devices and has a range of 23 feet 
  • If there are more than 6 shades or shades outside of the 23 feet range, smart plugs or repeaters must be added to the system 
    • Each smart plug or repeater can handle 6 end devices and has a range of 23 feet  

For Radio Technology Somfy (RTS) technology: 

• A TaHoma switch can handle up to 40 RTS devices and has a range of 30 feet 
• If there are devices outside the 30 feet range of one TaHoma switch, another TaHoma switch must be added to control those devices 
• If multiple TaHoma switches are being used for one installation, a maximum number of 10 TaHomas can be used and a maximum number of 200 devices can be added
