How Do I Reset my Tahoma Switch?

Modified on Thu, 7 May at 2:28 PM

There are different types of resets that can be done on the Tahoma Switch.  Below are the different types of resets and how to perform them:

  1. To perform a wi-fi reset and have the Tahoma save the shade programming and scenes:

  1. On the bottom of the Tahoma, there is a small hole where the reset button is located.  A paperclip or something similar will be needed to access the button.

  1. Press and hold the programming button for 7 seconds, then release.  The LED on the Tahoma should begin blinking red. Once the LED on top of the Tahoma begins blinking blue, the Tahoma is ready to be set up again.

  1. If you are moving and want to disassociate the Tahoma from your account and remove the scenes, but leave thTahoma, shades and remotes paired:

  1. From the home screen of the Tahoma by Somfy app, select the three dots on the bottom right of the screen.

  1. Select “Configure the installation”

  1. Select “Advanced settings”

  1. Select “Remove my system” and then “Remove my system” again at the bottom of the screen.  Select the option to keep the devices paired to the Tahoma.

  1. If you want to fully delete the Tahoma from your account and unpair all devices:

  1. From the home screen of the Tahoma by Somfy app, select the three dots on the bottom right of the screen.

  1. Select “Configure the installation”

  1. Select “Advanced settings”

  1. Select “Remove my system” and then “Remove my system” again at the bottom of the screen.  Select “no” when asked if you want to keep paired devices
