Before beginning, ensure end limits are set on the shade. This can be tested by tapping the programming button on the shade. If the shade moves, end limits are set. The following steps are for pairing multiple shades onto a single channel, not for copying and pasting to create a group channel.
Step 1: Wake up the motor by pressing and holding the programming button on the motor until the motor jogs once, then release. The LED on the motor head should be flashing orange.
Step 2: Ensure that the remote is within 2 feet of the motor head. Put the remote into pairing mode by briefly pressing up and down at the same time for less than half a second. The LED at the top of the remote will flash orange. It may take up to 30 seconds for the equipment to pair. Do not touch anything on the remote or motor while waiting. When pairing is successful, the LED on the remote will turn green, then the motor will jog about 10 seconds later.
Step 3: Lock the shade into the remote by briefly pressing the programming button on the back of the remote for less than half a second. The motor will jog again and the LED on the remote and the motor will turn off.
Step 4: To add the next motor, press and hold the programming button on the motor until it jogs once, then release. The LED on the motor head should be blinking orange.
Step 5: Ensure that the remote is within 2 feet of the motor head. Tap the programming button on the back of the remote for less than half a second. The LED on the remote will flash orange. It can take up to 30 seconds for the remote and motor to pair. Do not press any buttons on the remote during this time. The LED on the remote will flash green and the motor will jog when paired.
Step 6: Repeat steps 4 and 5 for any additional motors that are being paired.
