Modified on Fri, 8 May at 1:52 PM

If a smart plug is not detected when trying to add to a Tahoma Switch via the Tahoma Pro app, please follow the instructions below:

  1. First confirm that the smart plug is operational by plugging it into an outlet and pressing the button on the side of the smart plug. An audible clicking sound should be heard and the LED on the smart plug should be green.

  1. If the LED does not turn green, try plugging the smart plug into another outlet.

  1. Confirm that all Zigbee routers between the smart plug and the Tahoma Switch are online. This includes wired motors and smart plugs.

  1. Confirm that all Zigbee routers between the smart plug and the Tahoma Switch are within 23’ of each other.

  1. If the smart plug still will not add in, please try closing out the Tahoma Pro app and re-opening it.

  1. If it still will not add in, please try resetting the smart plug by pressing and holding the programming button on the plug until it turns red, then release.
