How Do I Create a Schedule in the Tahoma by Somfy App?

To create schedules for devices in the Tahoma by Somfy app, follow the instructions below:   

 

  1. Open the Tahoma by Somfy app, then select the scenes button at the bottom of the page.  The scenes button looks like a play button with a square around it.  Now select “Create your first scene”. 

  2. On the next screen, select “Create my own scene”. 
  1. On the next screen, select “Schedule”. 

  1. Now you will be able to choose whether you want to set a specific time or sunrise or sunset options. There is an option called “When?” where you can make this selection. 

 

 a. If “specific time” has been selected, you may choose the time you want the schedule to run. 

 b. If sunrise or sunset has been selected, you may choose to set the schedule 15, 30 or 45 minutes before or after sunrise or sunset. 

 c. Towards the bottom of the page you can select which days you want the schedule to be active. 

 d. Once all selections have been made, click “next” at the bottom of the page. 

  1. Now you will be able to select which devices you want to run on the schedule. There are 4 categories in which the devices are broken down.  Favorites, Devices, Rooms and Manual Scenes.  Choose which devices you want set to the schedule, then select “Set the action” at the bottom of the page. 

  1. Choose the position you want the devices to move for the schedule.  The devices can be set to open, close, my or you may use the slider to set the devices to any position between open and close.  Once the position has been set, select “validate”. 

  1. If there are no other devices you would like to add to the schedule, select “I have selected all my devices”. 

  2. You may now name the schedule, choose an icon for the schedule and make any adjustments to the days and planned actions as needed.  Once all selections are correct, select “Finish”.
