How Do I Change The Soft Start/Soft Stop For A Motor With The Tahoma Pro App?

To change the soft start/soft stop for a Zigbee motor using the Tahoma Pro app, please follow the instructions below.  The instructions are to be used after installation of a Tahoma switch or after configuring and connecting to a motor:      

 

  1. Open the Tahoma Pro app and select “Configure a motor. 
  2. On the next screen select “Next”. 
    1. If you would like the message to not appear again for the day, click “Stop displaying this message for today”. 
  3. On the next screen that asks if you will be deploying a Tahoma hub, select “No”. 
  4. Scan the QR code for the motor or select “I don’t have a QR code” to connect to the motor. 
  5. On the next screen, ensure there is power to the motor and select “Next”. 
  6. Select “Set equipment”. 
  7. Select “Soft start” or “Soft stop”, whichever one you would like to change. 
  8. Adjust the slider anywhere from 500ms to 1,000ms. 
  9. Once complete, select “Confirm”.
