No, at this time there is no app demo mode. In order to have access to the app, you would need an active account with an attached, online Gateway. 

Can I have a mobile demo setup?

Yes. It is recommended to have a Gateway setup at your office or home, that you can access on your app from anywhere to demo.   If you would prefer to have a motorized shade sample and be able to demo running the shade with your app, will require the Gateway to be connected to a 2.4 Ghz. Wi-Fi network and be powered.   You could accomplish this by having a mobile hotspot that the Gateway is connected to, with you during your calls.
