Zigbee: How Do I Adjust The Speed of The Shade (Switch or Serv-E-Go)?

Modified on Sat, 16 May at 12:40 PM

Speed adjustments for Zigbee motors must be done through the Tahoma Pro app or through the Serv-E-Go site. To adjust speed, please follow the instructions below:

Tahoma Pro

If a Tahoma Switch has been set up and programmed and you are now attempting to adjust motor speed via the Tahoma Pro app, open the Tahoma Pro app, then select “Access an active Tahoma Switch”.

On the next screen, select “yes” if you installed the system previously.  Select “no” if you did not.

Either use the search option to search for the Tahoma by name or PIN number or select “scan QR code” at the bottom of the screen.  Once the Tahoma is selected or scanned, a service request will need to be sent to the customer.  The customer will need to access their email and approve the service request.

Once the service request has been approved, select “Device”, then select the desired shade.

Scan the QR code for the shade, then select “set equipment”, then select “nominal speed”.  The speed can be set anywhere from 10 RPMs to 28 RPMs.

Serv-E-Go

If you are the main account holder for the Somfypro account, go to somfypro.com and log-in, then hover over “Services” and select “Serv-e-Go”.

Select the installation that you want to modify, then select “Request Access”.  The customer will need to access their email and approve the service request.

Once the service request has been approved, select the device you want to change, then select “configure” next to “nominal speed”.  The speed can be set anywhere from 10 RPMs to 28 RPMs.
